What better way to pass time on your Friday workday than by checking out our weekly Digital RoundUp?
It’s our first Digital RoundUp of 2014, and we thought we’d kick off the New Year with our favourite free productivity apps.
1. Any.do
This task management app has been around for a few years now. It lets you dictate your tasks, set time and location reminders, share lists and sync to the cloud. It also recently added a sister calendaring app.
Available on iOS, Android and Chrome.
2. Asana
We’re big fans of this collaboration app at Bright Blue Wave. It allows you to schedule and organize tasks across projects, with options to comment, attach files and set deadlines.
Available on iOS and Android.
3. Evernote
We’ve mentioned before this is one of our favourite apps for streamlining daily tasks. You can categorize and tag notes, capture and store content, tag and save voice memos, link notes to calendar and more.
Available on iOS, Android, Mac and Windows.
4. Pocket
Pocket helps you save and filter content to read later, breaking down saved reads into categories and get tailored recommendations from Pocket Preferences.
Available on iOS and Android.
5. Mailbox
The popularity if this app has recently exploded – so much so that it enticed a buyer: Dropbox. It takes a unique approach for organizing your inbox, letting you “snooze” emails that can be read later and zero in on urgent messages that need to be addressed now.
Available on iOS.
